What Should I Get For Easter 2017

What Should I Get For Easter?

Easter is coming. You may want to prepare gifts for the whole family. This Passover holiday is one that you do not want to pass over.

Easter is

Easter is a Christian holiday that derived from the Jewish Passover. People celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.

This is why Easter Eggs tradition was born. People from early Christian community of Mesopotamia used eggs as a symbol of an empty tomb. They dyed chicken eggs red symbolized the blood of Christ that had been shed. Modern custom uses chocolate or plastic eggs filled with candies or other sweets.

Easter Bunny

The bunny character, in German Lutheran communities, plays the role of a judge, evaluating whether children were good or disobedient in behavior. Easter Bunny carries colored eggs in his basket, candy, and sometimes also toys to the homes of children. Just like Santa Claus. 😀

Why the character of bunny? I don’t know. Maybe because early churches believed that a rabbit is a hermaphrodite that could reproduce without loss of virginity led to an association with the Virgin Mary. Well… ancient time has ancient beliefs.

Hey I have a question. My sister just had a baby and I want to get my niece something. She is a newborn. Is that Bunny suitable for a newborn baby? She will only be about a month old.

I like your suggestions here, Arief, and my favorite would have to be they Eco coloring eggs. What I like the most about them is that there are no dangerous chemicals, but most of all, you can still EAT them after coloring them. I’ve never seen these before, but it turns out they work extremely well. Thanks for the great ideas!

      Hi Brandon,
I always worry when I received colorful easter eggs. I don’t know if I should eat them or just throw them away after Easter. That’s why I recommend people to use eco coloring eggs. No chemicals and still safe to eat the eggs afterwards. I am glad that you also share my view.
